Balloxy BT is an epoxy mastic coating specially designed for maintenance and repair of water ballast tanks.
It is surface-tolerant with high solids making it especially well-suited for areas where optimal surface preparation is not possible or desired. Balloxy BT provides good protection in environments with high corrosivity, and can be used as a primer, midcoat or finish coat in atmospheric environments. It can be used on properly prepared carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum and a range of aged coatings. Balloxy BT can be applied at sub-zero temperatures. Balloxy BT is IMO PSPC for WBT and COT approved.
